The biggest reason why I am going to this event is that I want practice for the sprue posse open in LA the following week. I need practice with DE and I hope this gives me an idea of what works and what doesn't.

    I fail to see the purpose to even include the baron in the list. Even with his inclusion, the hellions will get mowed down by anything that looks at them, even with the 3+ cover save. The unit costs 260 points with the baron which could easily be traded for a beast unit with 5x khymera and 8x razorwing flocks. This unit would be able to demolish most units while also being considerably more durable. Other than that, while I would change around some upgrade options and change the archon to a Hemonculi, I think list looks pretty good.

    I need troops is one of the reasons why they are there.

    I have never used them before, so I will see how they can stand up to enemy fire. It is only 1500 points, so I do not expect to see to much fire coming at them, and what does shou

    And the week after that I plan on using 16+ of them when my 2 other boxes of Hellions show up from the Warstore.
